Hillsdale became a village in 1947. They are located in Mid County and maintain their own police department.
HUNTLEIGH VILLAGE
Huntleigh incorporated as a 4th class city in 1929. They are located in Mid County and contract police services from Frontenac.
JENNINGS
Jennings became a 3rd class city in 1946. They are located in North County and contract for police services from St. Louis County. Jennings continues to operate their own jail facilities. They also contract for federal prisoners.
KIRKWOOD
Kirkwood incorporated in 1865 and operate under a charter form of government. They are located in Mid County and maintain their own police department.
LADUE
Ladue became a 4th class city in 1928. They are located in Mid County and operate their own police department.

Julia A. Bowen
Julia was born in Huntington W. Va. in 1953. She started her police career in 1979 with University City. She remained with U. City until 1985 then joined the Maryland Heights Police Dept. where she remained until 1989. In 1989 she became an officer for the Hanley Hills Police Dept. In 1991, Julia resigned from police work to become a trustee for Hanley Hills. Julia has held the position as Police Commissioner from 1991 to 2013.

MEADOWBROOK DOWNS
Meadowbrook Downs was a small bedroom community of about four or five streets that was located just east of Ashby between Page and Flora (Lackland). In 1950 they incorporated as a village.
Meadowbrook Downs merged with Overland in 1962.
